Apple bluetooth keyboard disconnects, and won't reconnect

A few times now, lucky me, have experienced that the bluetooth Apple keyboard is disconnected, and not working. It has happened after putting my MBPr 15 into sleep, and when waking it up, the keyboard will not automatically reconnect, as it should. Also, to top it off, the bluetooth settings in OS X seems to have frozen, as it does not respond anymore. You simply cannot turn off bluetooth, to try and reconnect the keyboard! A web and mobile developers switch from Windows to OS X

Open files and folders with Sublime Text 3 from the OS X Terminal

If you are using Sublime Text 3 on your mac, you may want to be able to open files and folders in Sublime via the Terminal? How to remove Dashboard in OS X Mavericks

If you want to remove the “Dashboard” screen from the Mission Control view in OS X Mavericks, Open a Terminal, and run these two commands: defaults write com.apple.dashboard mcx-disabled -boolean YES killall Dock If you later want to have Dashboard back, you use the same commands, only with NO at the end of the first one, instead of YES.

Android Emulator With Intel Hardware Accelerated Execution Manager is Freezing/crashing on Mac OS X

If you are trying to run your Android apps in a harware accelerated android emulator on Mac OS X, you may experience a crash, or your whole mac will freeze up, ending in a reboot. The default installation of intel HAXM that comes with the Android SDK manager is version 1.0.6. Intel has released a Hotfix, revision 03 of the HAXM software, available here. Download and install the “haxm-macosxr03hotfix.zip”,  Which has a version number of 1.0.
